If in doubt, throw more hardware at it... :)
I think it is more to do with the fact that the new hardware will have a new OS etc etc too... :)
Please note: I am NOT official newsleecher support.

Sorry, don't want to start anything, but, what fixed it last week then if it wasn't an OS update?

It looks like Supersearch Indexing is not working. When are you going to get your act together and provide service we are paying for?

It is getting to the stage where it would be easier getting Orange juice out of a cow, than what it would be hoping for Supersearch to get back on line.

Is this not the reason??

May 27, 2015

Since the previous beta release of NewsLeecher, some SuperLeech service users have experienced article matching issues with specific SuperLeech entries, resulting in articles being ignored by SuperLeech, instead of being being downloaded.
We are working on fixing the issue and will post a new version of NewsLeecher as soon as that has been done. Hopefully very soon.

On another note, in regards to the servers running the NewsLeecher web, SuperSearch and SuperLeech services, we are in the process of moving everything to new and much more powerful hardware, as the current hardware, handling the services, is running close to 100% utilization. We will make the hardware change as smooth as possible, but there might be a little downtime in the process.
Best Regards

Steven, that was posted some two weeks ago......an update to the PAYING users to advise on the current situation is not too much to ask

I agree it was would be great to get a time-scale as to how long it takes to 'upgrade the servers'.

"Search in progress, please hang on..." And then it freezes, once again.
Any idea how to fix this?

First... a lot of problem with VERY slow searches. I don't mean 30 seconds or something... I'm talking MINUTES long, while others come through instantly. Oddly enough, the searches DO seem to eventually complete.

Second... the Adult server isn't returning anything older than 36-37 days.
