Supersearch limited to ~30 days?!

Post by eekthecat » Fri Jul 10, 2015 1:09 am

This is the second time this seems to have happened in the past couple of weeks - supersearch (at least the erotica section) is limited to 30-ish days. For example, I've done a search for "lola" at 2000d, and the oldest result is 33.6d old... I find it hard to believe that word didn't exist past 33.6d... What's going on? (fwiw, I'm on 7b7 on win 8.1)

I have just done a test - and it's working fine.
What error do you get?

No error, results are just capped around 33d. Tried on two different computers to ensure it wasn't a configuration problem. (Just tried again, same problem) this is a search in the "erotica" (heart) section, not general, which seems to be working fine.

and it seems to be working again... it would be nice to get an explanation of what's going on, and what's being done to prevent this from happening again and again in the future.
