And what about MOVIES for the drop down (pictures/audio)?
How is one supose to search for erotic movies?!?! ... or are you a religios newsreader now?

OH GOD will some1 send me a link to a stable working newsreader with a search feature please.

I have been with NL for 2 years now and latly they have lost it!

Why implement new features and not test it on your end!
YES I know this is a beta version, but the way you are treating us - YOU SHOULD PAY US FOR TESTING!!!
Stop whining. It works like a charm the new SS. You just have to read on hou to use it. I can find anything i want. (including erotic movies)

Read u before you complain!!!!!!

Nice ideas...but they don't work

Post by thinkofitnow »

You all think it's because of the Beta - It's not.
If you read my post, you'd see that I uninstalled my beta and went back to the full version final...but the same issue persists.
It's time now to get support involved.
Thanks for the ideas, though.
I'm getting the impression that this is not a "my side" problem, but is a newsleecher issue.

Audio
Erotic video

You name it.
It's just using the right SS settings in the toolbar before you press GO.

Hi,

Just did a search for "BBC TV 1 Mountain" and all it showed was to 2 nfo files.

When I use binsearch it shows all 5 episodes.

Is the newsgroup it's posted in on the SS Indexing list ??? Check that first.

SuperSearch index page is at http://www.newsleecher.com/ss.php

If the group you want isn't indexed, you can request it be added on that same page.
Please be aware of and use the following pages...
Services Status Page : SuperSearch and Usenet Access server status, retention, server load, indexing time, etc.
Support Request Form : Use this if you have a problem with billing or account status. The forum is only for NewsLeecher application issues.

but the files were posted in alt.binaries.british.documentaries and crossposted to a.b.documentaries. Since SuperSearch only indexes posts in the original group, you won't find them in the SuperSearch index. The replies that you did find were posted in a.b.documentaries.

Umm is it down? SEP 03, 8:55 PST

I cannot utilize SS right now. Is this due to the server move?

The only reason I ask is because I have not seen any other posts of people complaining.
