enough already

Post by mnctech »

Enough of this sTuff already. We lost a whole weekend not that long ago and SS has been up and down constantly for the past few weeks. Admin's can't even be bothered to post something to the news page. WTF is going on? My subscription runs until May, and you can bet your ass I won't be renewing unless these outages get taken care of. Atleast acknowledge you're having a problem and that you're working on it. From where I sit it appears that SS is down and you could care less...

Alternatives?

Post by j77jbk »

Hey all, anyone know of another option if this is not stable at all? I looked at newzbin but they stopped taking new users since June last year.

I have used and paid for SS for 2 years, it has always been great and just because there are problems I am not going to bail out. I will however bail out if when there are problems there are no explanations, no updates and no apologies.

If I pay, I receive, a simple rule I like to employ.

Peace... :D

No doubt. The service is great when it works, but that seems to be less and less lately. To make it worse, like mnctech said, it doesn't look like you guys care. With the economy such as it is, I'm sure I could find a better way to spend my money.

Newzbin is still up

Post by lhb1 »

newzbin is still running but provides a different type of service than SuperSearch. I use it just to find out what was posted by category and find the filename to search for in supersearch. And yes, Supersearch is currently down. I use it all the time and the downtime is not very often, so stop bitchin and wait a little. It will be back up soon enough.
I hate sigs.

A few hour outage is not "soon enough". Most of our complaints are about the lack of communication.

Stop bitchin? Maybe you are using Mommy's checkbook, but I work for a living. I also pay for services, and will 'bitch' as much as I want until I get fed up and terminate said services.
