edit.: at least you guys should have he balls to tell us useres, when ss doesnt work..
ps.: and use the frigging "News" option to do so..
Yes, I 2nd that, and as always, no word from the suport guys. SS still not indexing!!!! And the most funny thing, they are lying:
Indexing turn-around time : 0.6 minutes , yeah sure....
2nd day in a row that SS is down... trying to search but no luck
I'm about to end this crap when my subscription expires.
enough other ways to get the same results and it's free and always working....
The main SuperSearch server is unavailable. Erotic server is still working.
The developer has been notified and we will get it running again as soon as possible.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Please be aware of and use the following pages... Services Status Page : SuperSearch and Usenet Access server status, retention, server load, indexing time, etc. Support Request Form : Use this if you have a problem with billing or account status. The forum is only for NewsLeecher application issues.
Yay, as usual the server is down and we wait hours for the service we pay through the nose for. But we can always download porn for some reason. Get your priorities straight.
Getting really sick of this - We pay for a premium service, and all we get are excuses - Glad that the developer has been notified....We put up with HOURS or DAYS of down time, with not as much as a apology. Even if they offer an extra day or two extension, rarely does actually change the expiration date.
Anyway - check binsearch dot info for a free search with a database with 365+ days of indexes. You can generate an NZB with the results. Pretty cool - will cancel NewsLeecher when the subscription is up. I hate that the customer is the last priority.
Also Usenet Explorer seems promising as a replacement.
I'm moving on. Next month I won't renew my subscription (at least not for SS). It's not only the offline time of SS, but the incompletes starting to bother me as well. Especially now I'm leeching Blu-ray disk. The repair time takes hours and when I'm using a nzb site the posts are all complete so no repair and.... it's FREE.
Second the unwantend changes every new version of NL. Come on Spiril, if it works..... don't touch it. Like "skip file if already donwloaded". Worked like a charm, then you take it away. Then you put it back, but now the file has to be downloaded first to determine if it already exists..... doh!!!

Yes that is true, noticed that before, when using a nzb file form one of the many nzbsites the files are 100% complete, when downloaded thru supersearch files are incomplete, I'm willing to pay for a good service, but supersearch is not worth a penny.
