maybe it's because of the server moving...
relax and give them 1-2 days to solve this. use nzb's in the meanwhile

During the coming days, we will be moving the SuperSearch service to new, more powerful, servers. The move is planned to go smoothly without any downtime at all, but if you suddenly experience that you can't connect to SuperSearch anymore, try restarting NewsLeecher to refresh the SuperSearch (IP) connection information.

Don't quite understand what it means by refreshing Supersearch IP connection information. How do you refresh it?

Btw it's also hanging over here. Has been for hours.

I know we don't get an uptime guarantee for $2.99/mo, but c'mon now -- did you test that it worked on the new servers before you left for the weekend?? :roll:

Wait 1 or 2 days, HAHAHAHAHA thats funny in a the internet world. In a world where we measure uptime to the thousandths and hundred thousandths, .999% and .9999% uptime, thats downtime for the next 10 years. What are you a private contractor that will get that persons bathroom plumbling repaired sometime next week... Get real... Should be repaired in minutes, and NEVER done before a weekend. Ever heard of code freaze fridays... anyways.....

since news searcher is down, hit http://www.binsearch.info/ , which will search for bianarys, all you gotta do is fnd um, then click the box and hit create .nzb which will import right into newsleecher. not as nice, but almost as close for free...

12 hours later and I'm not getting " Awaiting response " anymore, now getting " unable to receive reply ". You notice the lack of help/advice from these mods/tech guys about this too ?

Am I the only one having problems with SS?
Is it still down??? :shock:

I tried everything, waiting for over 4 hours now, restarted newsleecher several times, etc..
Where can I get my refund?? It seems to be more down than up... :x

Yes , one thing i really learned while using SS the last couple of months is how to make good use of NZB files ,
what started out as a great working must have feature with newsleecher is starting to become really laughable .
