Superleech settings from broken HDD

Post by Zero1 » Sat Apr 19, 2014 4:17 pm

Hi

Is it possible to transfer my Superleech settings/listings to my new installation of newsleecher after replacing my hard drive.

I really don't want to have to redo them all again.

Thanks in advance.

If your NewsLeecher installation is all hunky dory you can transfer everything by copying %appdata%\NewsLeecher into the same folder on your destination computer. Make sure the versions of NL are identical on the computers, and that NL is activated on the destination computer before doing this.

In other words

-On new HDD, install NewsLeecher same version as on source computer
-Activate and launch NL for the first time
-Close down program
-Copy %appdata%\NewsLeecher from Source computer to destination
-Open up NL -- all settings should be transferred across.
Please note: I am NOT official newsleecher support.
