mine has crapped out again - got a single result today, but manual searches are turning up loads of results.

V7B7 has been working without any issues using SuperLeech since I installed it on April 15th.
I have not missed any of the 15 weekly TV programs on my queue list since I installed V7B7. SuperSearch works fine also.
Looks like I'm the only one not having all those problems and I don't know why. I have seen very few other errors
pop up since installing V7B7. I have NewsLeecher running 24/7 on a Laptop. I reboot the laptop once every 24 hours.
My SuperLeech queue list is set to search every 90 minutes for some items and 6 hours for the others.

I have also been experiencing the reported NewsLeecher server (not available) problems others have reported in the past.

I have Between in my list - no match ever. Nothing in Rookie Blue since last season.

Still no update for those of us who have no luck? Should we uninstall, reinstall, pray (I might pass on that one thanks), or what?

There is obviously an issue that is affecting some people, but all we can hear is crickets chirping due to lack of feedback from the development team. Is it a non standard port, is it timing out, we don't know thanks to no feedback or action.

I guess it started working again. There's still a problem. When you first add an entry it absolutely will not find any results, even though a manual SS will totally find it. What I've been doing when new shows come out is add them and set it to find ep 2 or newer, then manually search for the first episode. It starts working after the initial SS success, but since SL won't pick up anything you've already used SS for, it won't work until the next new entry. This is definitely an improvement from this long-broken feature, with not a word from NL staff. Oh well. Let's hope it's all done when the full release of NL7 finally drops. This is the longest we've waited for a release that I can remember.

It won't find anything before the day you add the entry - that's how they programmed it. Quite why is a question that only they can answer.

As irritating is the fact that the "video media files inspector" is unreliable (gives false negatives and was missing things, so had to disable it on most entries) and the search append filters don't work anymore (just doesn't take any notice of entries in the list so had to add those to the download pause list and manually delete them).

Seems to me that a lot of the Superleech work must be done server side (when they should be done client side), and the "improvements" are anything but.

At least they eventually fixed the damn thing enough so it gives results if carefully massaged though, so let's hope they leave it alone in case they break it again.

Manual search *always* gets MANY more results than the automatic one here. That's why I have to do a full manual search after the automatic one every day.

An automatic search should always give the same results as a manual one, but the function seems so complicated that I really can't work out what is really going on. Superleech has been badly implemented. Just give us a setting that lets us search the last "x" hours, and an option to add already downloaded content "paused".

It's about time we had full and transparent control over the superleech function, and the automatic search should just be a timed version of the manual one, which it blatantly isn't.

And dont get me started on the "Enable video media files inspector" that I have now disabled for all entries because of its inability to detect video media, or the repair and extract that is unable to repair a fileset that Quickpar repairs in moments, or the search append filter that does nothing.
