How do I stop the following:

1) Single files downloaded (pdf, mp3, etc.) DO NOT go to the folder I have specified for downloading.

2) Individual mp3 files keep opening iTunes and start playing. 100 files 100 times I have to shut off iTunes.

3) PDF files try to open with notepad. Again 100 files 100 open notepad windows on my desktop.

This only happens with single files that are selected. This was a reason I wanted to stay on 3.9 and not go to 4.0. I don't like the flakey way files are now clumped and secondly it can't seem to handle just single files properly. It is putting the files in some temp folder under Users/username/AppData/Roaming/Newsleecher/NL Temp. It's also not my usenetserver either. I have been using different servers with the same results.

Why isn't there better and more timely support from you people at Newsleecher?

You are using the wrong shortcuts to add files to the queue. You are using "Open" or "Read", rather than "Leech".
