Well, after blaming everyone except themselves Usenetserver seems to have closed down their frontend servers for maintenance..........

Bunch of amateurs at Usenetserver..........

The best way to know if something is wrong at Usenetserver is when they close the 24/7 online support :?

I have been contacting them for days now but the service is terrible.....

Time to move on and leave UNS......... plenty more to go to....

What has probably happened is a major peice of kit has fallen over and they are trying to get systems back online and then redownload lost headers, putting more strain on other servers which has caused them so many problems

My guess that its a Usenetserver as I have it on 3 usenetservers but no error on my ISP news server. :?
Uns doesnt support 12 feeds , I got their new ip and asked for all 3 but no luck

The maintenance is likely to last about two hours longer than expected.

From the UNS home page (times are Eastern Standard Time):

We are continuing to repair frontends and anticipate at least another 2 hour extension. We cannot allow connections until we are completely finished with the repairs otherwise it will prolong any issues.
Thanks,
Engineering
