4.0 Beta 1 Group Headers purged

I just upgraded to 4.0 B1 this morning. I went to update one of my DVD groups and it wanted to download something like 20 million headers. LOL It should have downloaded perhaps maybe 1 million... at the high end. It looks like all of my groups have had their headers purged. Is there any way I can get those setting returned? Is there a cache somewhere that I can just copy/paste?

The very first item under the release notes:

#: Note that this NewsLeecher release introduces a completely new

article cache system which is significantly different from the

previously used cache system. Because of the major change in

the format of the cache, it will be necessary to re-fetch

headers for any subscribed usenet groups the first time

NewsLeecher V4.0 Beta is used.

Not sure if there's anyway to get them back if you didn't back up your old settings from 3.9.

Another obvious approach would be to simply tell NL via the menu to only download the last million headers this time which should get you more than the new stuff.

From there you can resume getting all new as normal.

I did apply the obvious method just as soon as I discovered I was in header hell. It only took one time, then I adjusted. Next time I will make a point to read the rls notes first.
